It has been snowing non-stop today, so our plans of venturing out have been stalled. The only time I went farther than our alley way today was for the grocery store but it was a hard trip. Carrying 3 bags of food while wearing 3 jackets and gloves is very difficult! I did get out to play in the snow though.

Here is a picture from the Texas State Society Reception on the night of the State of the Union. I went with my staff, but I saw lots of other interns there. I also met Rep. Randy Neugebauer, who represents Lubbock. =] Fun night!
