Capitol Hill Grille

This morning Congressman Johnson treated me to some french toast at the Capitol Hill Grille, located directly underneath the Capitol Hill Club and next door to the Republican National Committee. Maybe french toast was not the most patriotic dish but it was delicious! Other staff memebers also came and I had a great time and was happy to get out of the office for a bit. =]

The rest of the day was pretty uneventful, but I am really starting to get the hang of things at work. I know what my daily tasks are and how to complete them- I am settling in. I know I have probably said this a lot, but I love my staff, I enjoy my time much more than other interns and I have nothing to stress about. I do miss being at Tech though, and my family too of course!

The first season of Mad Men came in the mail. I will try to only watch one episode a night so I don't finish it too fast. But now its dinner time!

    Woot for the White House. I think it is really funny that you didn't realize where you were so it surprised you. Not that I wouldn't do the same thing. Love ya!
